NOTICE TO SNOWMOBILE OPERATORS / VEHICLE PARKING DURING SNOW REMOVAL
City Ordinance #230 prohibits the use or operation of a snowmobile on any sidewalk with the city or from a point of intersection of Main Street and U.S. Highway 14 and southwesterly along Main Street with Park Drive, in so far as this same may be applicable or relate to use and operation of motor vehicles within the corporate limits of the city. In plain language, snowmobiles are to be operated in the same manner as a motor vehicle and should not cross personal property.
City Ordinance #596 (10-1-4) deems it unlawful to park any vehicle parallel or angularly on Main Street of Arlington and all the other streets, avenues, and alleys during snow removal. Any vehicle unlawfully parked shall be ticketed and fined, and may be towed by a towing company at the owner’s expense.
